PD Dr. med. Christoph Wölfl
Medical Co-founder
Christoph is one of the five medical initiators and co-founders of CONUS. He brings more than 25 years of clinical experience in orthopedics, trauma surgery, and sports traumatology.
After positions at University Hospital Erlangen and BG Unfallklinik Ludwigshafen, he habilitated at Heidelberg University. Since 2022, he has headed the Department of Orthopedics, Trauma Surgery, and Sports Traumatology as well as Hand and Plastic Surgery at Marienhaus Klinikum St. Elisabeth Neuwied.
Christoph has been committed to advancing severe injury care for decades. He was among the founders of the Young Forum of the DGU, served as national course director of the German ATLS program, and chaired the Scientific Board of the ATLS Europe Association.
